James Rodríguez Set to Join Club León

Colombian playmaker James Rodríguez is on the move again, this time heading to Mexico. Spanish club Rayo Vallecano and Liga MX side Club León have reached an agreement for the transfer of the former Real Madrid star.  

The move comes after a disappointing spell at Rayo, where Rodríguez struggled to find consistent playing time. Since joining the Madrid-based club in August 2024, he has made just seven appearances, totaling only 203 minutes on the pitch.  

Club León, a team with ambitions in the Mexican league, will be hoping that Rodríguez can rediscover his best form. The move represents a new chapter in the career of the talented midfielder, who has previously played for top clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Everton.
