Arsenal's Title Hopes Take a Hit as Villa Fight Back

Arsenal's hopes of reclaiming the Premier League title suffered a major blow as they surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.  

The Gunners looked to be cruising towards victory after goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz put them firmly in control. However, Youri Tielemans' header and a stunning volley from Ollie Watkins sparked a dramatic comeback from Unai Emery's side.  

The result leaves Arsenal six points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, who earlier in the day secured a comfortable win over Brentford.  

Lack of Depth Exposed
Mikel Arteta's side has been plagued by injuries this season, and the absence of key players was evident in the second half. The Gunners struggled to maintain their intensity and were punished by a resilient Villa side.

The draw throws the title race wide open. Liverpool will be confident of extending their lead at the top, while Manchester City and Chelsea will be looking to capitalize on Arsenal's slip-up.
