Since winning the League Cup in 1993, Arsenal has reached the semi-finals ten times but has not won the title again

On February 6, in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-final, Arsenal lost 0-2 away to Newcastle United, resulting in an aggregate score of 0-4 and their elimination from the tournament.
Once again, they were knocked out at a stage close to winning the League Cup trophy.
Since winning the League Cup in 1993, Arsenal has reached the semi-finals ten times over 32 years but has never secured the title.

Arsenal's League Cup Semi-Final History in the Last 32 Years:
1995-96: Lost to Aston Villa on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate.
1997-98: Lost to Chelsea 3-4 on aggregate.
2003-04: Lost to Middlesbrough 1-3 on aggregate.
2005-06: Lost to Wigan Athletic on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate.
2006-07: Lost to Chelsea 1-2 in the final.
2007-08: Lost to Tottenham Hotspur 2-6 on aggregate.
2010-11: Lost to Birmingham City 1-2 in the final.

Arsenal has experienced multiple eliminations at the semi-final stage, but the 2010-11 season loss to Birmingham was undoubtedly the most painful for fans. At that time, Arsenal had not won a trophy for nearly six seasons and desperately needed one to boost morale.
Serbian striker Nikola Zigic opened the scoring for Birmingham, and Andrey Arshavin assisted Robin van Persie to equalize.
In the final moments of the match, Arsenal made a critical error: a long clearance from Birmingham goalkeeper Ben Foster led to a miscommunication between Laurent Koscielny and Wojciech Szczęsny, resulting in a collision that allowed Obafemi Martins to score into an empty net. Birmingham pulled off a surprise victory over Arsenal to claim the title.
2017-18: Lost to Manchester City 0-3 in the final.
2021-22: Lost to Liverpool 0-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
2024-25: Lost to Newcastle United 0-4 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
