Bayern Munich Dominates Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 to Extend Bundesliga Lead
Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich cruised to a 4-0 victory over third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, showcasing their high-pressing style and restoring their eight-point lead over second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern dominated the match, effectively stifling any potential attacks from Eintracht and securing their first win in three matches after two consecutive draws.

With this win, Bayern sits at 58 points at the top, while Leverkusen, who defeated Holstein Kiel 2-0 on Saturday, follows in second with 50 points. Eintracht remains in third place with 42 points.

"While we are pleased with the win, we will remain calm, as we did after our recent draws against Leverkusen and Celtic," Bayern coach Vincent Kompany stated at the press conference. "In the days leading up to the match, the team appeared sharper, and we had plenty of reasons to secure a result today."

The intensity was high from the start, and Bayern quickly took control of the game, creating several scoring opportunities. Michael Olise sealed their deserved lead by tapping in a cutback from Leroy Sané in stoppage time of the first half.

Bayern faced a setback when Joshua Kimmich was forced off due to injury just before halftime, but the team quickly recovered. Kompany noted that Kimmich's injury did not appear serious.

The relentless pressure continued, with Hiroki Ito scoring the second goal in the 61st minute after Eintracht goalkeeper Kevin Trapp misjudged a corner kick. This marked Ito's first goal for Bayern and made him the first Japanese player to score in the Bundesliga for the club.

Harry Kane, returning from a calf injury, came on as a substitute in the second half. Bayern nearly added a third goal in the 78th minute, but Sané missed a clear chance. Jamal Musiala made no mistake in the 83rd minute, charging forward and finishing with a spectacular solo effort. Substitute Serge Gnabry capped off the match with a fourth goal in stoppage time as Eintracht's defense crumbled.
