How Much Does Indonesian Striker Ramadhan Sananta Earn at Brunei’s DPMM FC?
Ramadhan Sananta, the Indonesian national team striker, recently made a surprising move from Persis Solo to Brunei’s DPMM FC, opting to compete in the Malaysia Super League. This decision was influenced not only by the prospect of facing new challenges but also by the possibility of earning a higher salary compared to his previous contracts in Indonesia. Despite interest from major Indonesian clubs, Sananta chose the DPMM FC offer, signaling his ambition to grow his career abroad.

Currently, there is no official confirmation about the exact salary Sananta will receive at DPMM FC for the 2025–2026 season. However, considering his previous market value at around Rp4.78 billion while at Persis Solo, it is expected that his compensation will be competitive within the region. His wage is likely aligned with other ASEAN players in the Malaysian league, though precise figures remain speculative.

Reports suggest that foreign players at DPMM FC typically earn between USD 7,500 and USD 10,000 monthly, which translates to roughly Rp105 million to Rp140 million. Given Sananta’s status as a key striker for the Indonesian national team and his consistent performance, some experts believe he could be earning more than this typical range.

Speculation even points to the possibility that Sananta’s salary might reach around USD 15,000 per month, or Rp240 million, especially since he declined offers from prominent Indonesian teams like Persija Jakarta to join the Brunei club. This move highlights how players are weighing career growth and financial incentives when considering opportunities abroad.
