Relevo: Ancelotti could become the new coach of Brazil in the coming hours, with the earliest start date in May.

According to Spanish media outlet Relevo, following their 2-3 loss to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final, the Brazilian national team is accelerating the appointment of Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Reports indicate that Ancelotti is getting closer to becoming the new coach of the Brazilian national team. Diego Fernandes, the representative of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), has been in talks with the Italian coach for the past few months. He is currently in Sevilla for another meeting with Ancelotti, working to finalize the details of the contract. Ancelotti's potential start dates are either immediately in May or after June 30.
Fernandes arrived from Brazil yesterday to watch the Copa del Rey final between Barcelona and Real Madrid, and importantly, he met with Ancelotti again, similar to their meeting last week. He attended the Champions League match at the Bernabéu against Arsenal and had lunch with the coach the following day.
Fernandes acts as an external liaison for the CBF president, and during their interactions, Ancelotti has consistently stated that he has not met with any officials from the Brazilian Football Confederation, which is true. The Real Madrid coach has been maintaining contact with the CBF through this representative. Sources close to the negotiations indicate that they are expected to meet again in the coming hours via video conference to officially finalize the appointment. According to Relevo, the agreement is essentially complete, and Brazil has offered a contract similar to Ancelotti's long-term deal with Real Madrid.
Both Ancelotti and Diego Fernandes wish to proceed with maximum respect for Real Madrid, considering the close relationship between club president Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez. Real Madrid is kept informed of every development to some extent. All parties involved have suggested moving forward with caution, as Real Madrid is already preparing for the future under Xabi Alonso without upsetting Bayer Leverkusen.
